ABU Zaria Resumption Date for Fresh and Returning Students 2023/2024 Session

According to the management, both fresh and returning students for are to resume for the continuation of the previous academic session that was initially delayed due to the ASUU strike by university lecturers of various higher institutions.

Due to the disagreement between ASUU and the Federal government owing to failure of the FG to sign the 2009 agreement, university lecturers under ASUU went on strike since 14th February, 2022. Due to the lackadaisical attitude from the FG and the strong will of ASUU, the strike lingered until 14th October when it was called off as a result of the intervention of the speaker of the house of representative.

The academic activities for the 2023/2024 academic session has been designed to run for a period of 4 months approximately. All academic and non academic activities have been scheduled to take place within the 4 months period.

ABU Zaria RESUMPTION DATE FOR FRESH AND RETURNING STUDENTS

The management of ABU has announced the new resumption date for fresh and returning students for continuation of the academic activities according to the academic calendar as Tuesday, 3rd January, 2023, as lecture will resume immediately.

Students are advised to be law abiding and continue with their studies at their various places of abodes as school will resume as stated above.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Payment of school fees and acceptance fee plus all compulsory registrations for fresh and returning students would kick off immediately upon resumption.

If there are adjustments in to ABU resumption date for 2023/2024 academic session, the management will duly inform us and I shall make changes where necessary.
