All newly admitted students are to take note:
a) Lagos State University (LASU) acceptance fee is to be paid first upon admission into the University, this is a process applicable in all universities in Nigeria, be it private universities, Federal or state universities. It serves as a proof of acceptance of the provisional admission from JAMB.
B) Late payment of LASU school or acceptance fee by both fresh and returning students would attract extra charges and failure to pay the fees on time could lead to the student’s inability to seat for their semester examination or forfeiture of admission as approved by the management of the institution.
Lagos State University (LASU) like most state universities in Nigeria, do not offers the option of paying school fees in installments, fees are to be paid in a lump-sum

- LASU school fees for fresh students (indigene and non indigenes is 57,048.50 Naira per session (1st and 2nd semester) for students without entrepreneurship training programe.
- While fresh students for the Entrepreneurship Training are to pay ₦150,000.00 Per Session.
- Please note that in as much as all newly admitted students pay the above amount on the table, indigenous students will be refunded a reasonable part of their tuition fee while non indigenous students wouldn’t.

Stream 1(regular program) school fees per section(year) is #58,500 and thats what you will be paying from 100l-400l same amount same applies to stream 2(regular with enterprenueship skills) 150k, also that the same amount you will pay from 100l -400l.

As a fresher stream 1 you will pay acceptance fees 20k and medical fees 10k.
And you can pay 70% of ur school fees which is #40, 500 and pay the remaining 30% (#18, 500) i think second semester.
Stream 2, you are to pay your acceptance fees 20k , plus your medical fees 10k and half of your school fees 150 divide by 2 which is 75k.
(Add all 20k+10k+75k is 105k as the first payment) then in second semester you pay the rest of your school fees 75k

LASU accepts JUPEB. You can call 08060330220 for proper verification and guide on what steps are required. Secondly, LASU does screening and post UTME but in the past 2 academic sessions, they have been carrying out only screening. So expect screening this admission year too.

It all depends on the course you registered in JAMB. Secondly, your post UTME result as well as O’Level result would also determine the course you can study.
I would suggest you do a change of course because you cannot study medicine and surgery with 238 JAMB score at LASU. More so, change your preferred institution to LASU as first choice. Making LASU a second choice would make it more complicated.
