Juliet Odogwu was born Chiamaka Juliet Okoye on July 3, 1987. She is the child of Mr. Christopher Okwudili and Mrs. Helen Amaka Okoye. She is the first child in a family of 6 children; 4 boys and 2 girls. She is originally from Awka Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria.

She attended primary and secondary schools both in Amawbia, Awka Local Government, Anambra State. Juliet Odogwu discovered her writing talent at a young age; she was still in secondary school when became active in that sector. She was 16 years of age when she released her first book titled “It Pays To Be Patient.”

The book was a success; due to its motivational nature it became popular among young girls, and also among guardians of young girls, trying to instill qualities such as hard work and patience in their wards.

Publishing that book, especially at such a young age also opened many doors and opportunities for her; it gave her a foundation to build on. She continued on that career path, becoming better and bigger in her craft.

She published a magazine called Romeo and Juliet during her studies at the Institute Of Management And Technology (IMT), Enugu State.  The magazine was a lifestyle magazine, and talked about how to make the best use of resources, have fun, and enjoy quality time with loved ones. After establishing herself as a highly rated writer with so much to offer, especially to the girl child, she turned her attention to doing some good physically. She established the Chiamaka Ugoo Foundation which is committed to helping the girl child.

This foundation provides money for young girls in need of sponsorship so as to ensure that they stay in school. She is also an On Air Personality; she hosts the popular “Gwam Oku” (Talk To Me) radio program on KpanKpando 101.9 FM, in which she discusses issues like politics, governance and trending issues.
