And again i have a Bs.c in geology and i’d like to do my masters in Applied geophysics which is a subdisciplinary under Geology but here in UniAbuja, Applied geophysics is under physics department. I hope there will be no need for me to do a pgd.
So long as Applied geophysics is a sub-discipline under Geology it does not matter the faculty its under, you do not have to go through PGD. For example, Accounting is classified under social science faculty while in some universities, it is classified under management sciences and this does not stop a graduate from a school where accounting is classified under social sciences to go through PGD in Accounting in a school where it is classified under Management science faculty. you are good to go. UNIABUJA PG form for 2022/2023 will be out towards Sept/October. However, we shall post it on our blog as soon as it is out because me are monitoring it very closely.

As for UNIABUJA masters in public health, the duration depends on whether you intend running a full time or part-time programme, It takes between 18 to 24 months. The form is closed for the year so you practically cannot apply until early 2018.

One of tge requirements for Masters is NYSC discharge Cert. Plus as an HND graduate, you would most likely be required to do a PGD course before the main Masters degree programme
