Sponsored by the Josephus Foundation with the support of University Chancellor Chief (Dr.) Tunde Afolabi, MFR, the Josephus Foundation Scholarship is a prestigious, highly competitive award. It aims to assist exceptionally talented but financially disadvantaged students who might otherwise be unable to pursue higher education.
This partial scholarship covers only tuition and accommodation fees. Recipients will need to pay a one-time fee for other municipal and service charges, detailed in the undergraduate fee schedule available on the University website: Fee Structure. The scholarship is granted annually to newly admitted students (UTME, JUBEP, and direct entry) and may be renewed, provided the student maintains satisfactory academic performance throughout their program.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant must select Abiola Ajimobi Technical University, Ibadan as their first-choice institution. If not, they must request a change of institution to this University.
- Applicants must have participated in the 2025 JAMB UTME and achieved a minimum score of 160.
- Candidates should have passed Ordinary Level English, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and either Biology/Agricultural Science/Geography at least at the credit level in one sitting. Direct Entry candidates must have at least a Credit in three relevant science subjects at the advanced level.
- The applicant should have either accepted admission or be under consideration for admission to any degree program at Abiola Ajimobi Technical University, Ibadan for the 2025/2026 academic session.
- The scholarship can only be utilized if the applicant meets the O’level admission requirements for their chosen program.
- To renew the scholarship each academic year, recipients must maintain a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.50 (Second-Class Upper) or higher.
