Yes there is an age limit for admission into the Bayero University, Kano. Ideally you are supposed to be up to 18 years and above to before you can be admitted into any higher institution in Nigeria but times have changed. If you are 16 years and above, you can gain admission into BUK. However some departments would require you are up to 17 years of age at least. In BUK if you are 16 years and above can purchase their post UTME forms and participate in the screening exercise.
BUK Cut Off Mark
If you do not meet up BUK’s minimum cut off mark please DO NOT bother purchasing their post UTME form because your application will not be accepted and your money is as good as being wasted because BUK do not refund screening application forms fee. You must score at least 180 and above to be eligible to apply for BUK post UTME form. STEP 1: Candidates are to visit BUK Post UTME registration portal.
STEP 2: Login to BUK’s portal using your UTME Number and UTME Aggregate (total score), and proceed to upload your passport-sized photograph.
Note that the photograph uploaded will be only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in Bayero University, Kano.
STEP 3: You will be required to fill-in the Applicants’ Particulars Form and upload your O’level results on the JAMB website
STEP 4: Print your personalized RRR payment invoice to make the payment of N2,000.00 at any commercial bank nationwide via the Remita platform
STEP 5: After making the payment, return to the website, B and login again. Your payment will be validated after which you can print your personalized acknowledgment slip. Preview and confirm your information before printing your acknowledgement slip.
Note that applicants cannot print their acknowledgement slip until payment is processed and verified.
ANY CANDIDATE THAT FAILS TO REGISTER FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE WITHIN THE STIPULATED DATE WILL NOT BE AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED.
BUK POST UTME FORM CLOSING DATE
The Payment for the registration will start from Monday 8th July, 2020 – 24th August, 2020 . Portal for registration and printing of acknowledgment slip will be closed by midnight of 11th August 2019.
Note The Following;
- That the schedule (Venue and Time) of the BUK Aptitude Test for UTME and DE candidates is 3rd of August 2020.
- Also note that blind, deaf and foreign candidates are exempted from the aptitude test. However, they need to register for the BUK post UTME screening application form online.

NOTE: JAMB O’LEVEL REQUIREMENT
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has indicated that it would not clear any shortlisted candidate who does not have ‘O Level results. All candidate therefore, are advised to visit any JAMB Office or accredited CBT centre nearest to them to upload their O level results (WAEC, NECO, etc.).
Even candidates who do not satisfy the University screening conditions below are advised to provide the details for consideration by other institutions. (Note that supplying false information will result in disqualification). You are allowed to supply a maximum of two different O’ Level examination results.
PRINTING OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT/REGISTRATION SLIP
Please note that this slip is a very important document that must be carried along when going for your screening test at BUK. Any candidate that fails to carry this document automatically won’t be allowed into the exam hall.
Closing Date For Submission of BUK Post UTME/DE Form
