This is to inform all fresh and returning students of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria that the management of the institution has been announced the resumption of academic activities for the 2025/2026 academic session for fresh and returning students.
According to the meeting held by the senate at its 539th (Regular) meeting held on Thursday, 29th August, 2024. It stated that the examinations will start from Monday 4th to Saturday 9th November. The registration fee is N10,000 and charges per course by a student is N5,000.
The academic activities for the 2025/2026 academic session has been designed to run for a period of 4 months approximately. All academic and non academic activities have been scheduled to take place within the 4 months period.
ABU Zaria RESUMPTION DATE FOR FRESH AND RETURNING STUDENTS
The management of ABU has announced the new resumption date for fresh and returning students for resumption of fresh academic activities according to the academic calendar as 9th December, 2025, as lecture will resume immediately.
Resumption Date: Monday, 9th December, 2024
Students are advised to be law abiding and continue with their studies at their various places of abodes as school will resume as stated above.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Payment of school fees and acceptance fee plus all compulsory registrations for fresh and returning students would kick off immediately upon resumption.
If there are adjustments in to ABU resumption date for 2025/2026 academic session, the management will duly inform us and I shall make changes where necessary.
