We hereby inform the general public that the University of Lagos UNILAG JUPEB admission form for 2025/2026 admission year is out and applications are now being invited from suitably eligible candidates into the School of Foundation Studies, University of Lagos for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
Please be informed that only successful candidates after an approved examination administered by the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB), will be considered for DE (Direct Entry) admission into 200 Level of the Degree Programmes of the University through JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board), or admission into the following universities:
a) University of Bedfordshire
b) University of Central Lancashire
c) University of the West of England
d) De Montfort University, Leicester
e) University of Birmingham, (UK)
f) University of Aberdeen, Scotland
g) Soochow University, China.
Sadly, the management regrets to announce that the JUPEB programme currently does not have facilities for the visually impaired and is strictly a non-residential programme.
Ideally, you should be aware of JUPEB school fees for fresh students and their cut off mark to be better prepared for the academic session. We advce all students to take this programme seriously as this could be your best chance of gaining admission directly to 200 level.

UNILAG JUPEB Admission Requirements?
To be eligible for UNILAG JUPEB programme for 2025/2026 academic session, a candidate must have obtained the following:
- A minimum of FIVE (5) credits (English Language, Mathematics and three relevant subjects) obtained in one sitting at the SSCE/WASSC, GCE/O/L, NECO with results obtained before registration.
- University of Lagos has zero tolerance for drug abuse, sexual harassment, examination malpractice and other anti-social behavior. All admitted students will undergo compulsory medical test.
Examinations are:
Mathematics, English Language (20 questions each) and 3 other relevant subjects according to candidate’s choice of subject combination (15 questions each), making a total of 85 questions, to be answered in forty-five (45) minutes. Please note that candidates with Mathematics as one of the three subject combinations would need to choose Further Mathematics as a subject in the entrance examination combination.

- Ensure you have passed the three (3) subjects’ combination at O/Level with minimum of credit.
Application Guide for UNILAG JUPEB Admission Form
Step 1 – Visit the School of Foundation website at foundation.unilag.edu.ng and read more on sales of application forms
Step 2 – Visit the School of Foundation Studies application site on applications.unilag.edu.ng.
Step 3 – On the prospective student’s menu, click on the School of Foundation Studies.
Step 4 – Go through the information on subject combinations relevant to your proposed choice of course of study for Direct Entry admission. Please note that changes have been made on the previous combinations.
Step 5 – Complete the Pre-Application Form to obtain a payment reference number (PRN) using the correct applicant’s names as obtained in the birth certificate and other relevant documents.
Step 6 – Make payment at any Commercial bank in Nigeria with the payment reference number (PRN)
Step 7 – Cost of Application Form (Excluding Bank Charges) is N35, 000.00 (non-refundable).
Step 8 – Return to the applications site on applications.unilag.edu.ng.
Step 9 – Log in with PRN as username and applicant’s surname in lowercase as password.
Step 10 – Complete the application form and print two copies for yourself.
For University of Lagos Staff Children:
Step 1 – Click the staff biological child link, provide 5 digit staff ID number and select appropriate name on the staff children list to obtain a payment reference number (PRN).
Step 2 – Cost of Application Form (including on line practice tests (excluding Bank Charges): =N= 35, 000. 00 (non-refundable).
Step 3 –Make payment at any Commercial bank in Nigeria with the Payment Reference Number (PRN)
Step 4 –Return to the University website, click on School of Foundation Studies and click on continue Application. Log in with PRN and applicant’s surname in lowercase as password.
Step 5 –Complete the application form, print two copies and bring along to the entrance examination hall.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
UNILAG JUPEB Entrance Examination:
The entrance exam has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 at the Distance Learning Institute (DLI) in the University of Lagos.
Mode of Examination:
Computer-Based Testing (CBT). All Questions are Multiple Choice.
Examination subjects are:
Mathematics, English Language (20 questions each) and 3 other relevant subjects according to candidate’s choice of subject combination (15 questions each), making a total of 85 questions, to be answered in forty-five (45) minutes. Terms and conditions guiding admission into undergraduate programmes in the University:
Applicants are to note very importantly that admission into undergraduate programmes of the University is based on approved capacity for each programme and therefore success at JUPEB examination does not always translate into admission for preferred course of choice.
The University, may at its discretion, conduct or adopt other measures of testing to ascertain students to admit in cases where there are more successful candidates than the approved capacity for some courses.

UNILAG JUPEB Admission Form Closing Date
