Upon release of UNIBEN admission list, candidates are always in a haste to confirm if they have been admitted. In this post I will be putting you through the step by step guide on how to check the current UNIBEN admission list for 2025/2026 academic session, what is required for you to confirm if you have been admitted and how to use an alternative means of checking UNIBEN admission list just in case you do not find your name on the admission list uploaded on the UAM portal.
UNIBEN admission list checking procedure for 2025/2026 academic session is not different from method used in checking for last session. It is practically same method however, changes like the academic session and the batches in which the University of Benin releases their admission list might be different. How to Check UNIBEN Admission List
To check your admission status candidates are to follow the outline steps below:
STEP 1: You are to visit UNIBEN admission list portal @ https://waeup.uniben.edu/applicants/checkstatus
STEP 2: Enter your Registration Number or Applicant Id and Surname in the space required
STEP 3: Click on Submit to check if you have been admitted.
Congratulations to newly admitted students.
Candidates should note that other lists would be out as this is the merit lists, so patience would be required from all candidates whose names are not on this list.

You should check back. Law requires a very high UTME and post UTME screening test scores because of the competitive nature of the course. Your daughter’s score is not bad at all. She could still be admitted.

It is most likely you will not be granted admission from the look of things you just need to be prayerful right now. You ought to have uploaded your WAEC result. There is no way UNIBEN will consider any candidate for admission with Awaiting Results when there are other students for Mass Comm with more fantastic result.

You can still be admitted. However, the general pass rate would determine your chances. If there is a high pass rate, your chances of being admitted to study ML will be slim, vice versa.

This is very disheartening! A student passes and still failed to be given admission by the school. The good news is that you can change her course to either Political science or Mass Communication. Political Science is much easier to switch to Law in 200 level so long as she passes all her courses with a minimum of 3.5 GPA. That’s the best option you have at the moment.

In my opinion I will advice you go for political science. Its the easiest course to switch to Law in 200Level if you wish. More so, it is a very nice course.

You have not been given admission. From my experience, i can boldly tell you that your chances of being given admission inti UNIBEN to study ISD is low because that is a very competitive course and your JAMB score and post UTME result isn’t competitive for this course.

In the first place i seriously doubt if you will be considered for admission in UNIBEN without uploading your O’level result.

Yes. Courses can still be changed while admission list is out. A cousin of mine changed from CSC to computer science. Though it’s rare.

Well u see, information reaching me is over 400 hundred student had an aggregate of 80 for medicine… You would not be lucky to get medicine this time except u have some1 who can help u.. nevertheless other courses would be giving to u… You sure would get admitted

UNIBEN school fees for Biochemistry is 50,000 plus acceptance fee of 60,000 naira so in total, a Uniben fresher is to pay 110,000 naira

I got 72 aggregate. And I m going for law. I heard law cut off for merit is 74. With 72 aggregate, will my name be in second batch for law.
It all depends on the number of Students that beat the cut off mark. If it is high then your chances of gaining admission would be low
