When we talked about coming up with a comprehensive list of Universities in Nigeria that can admit candidates without going through the usual JAMB procedure of siting for the UTME and all the required process of scoring up to the cut off mark of the university before participating in the school’s post UTME then waiting for the release of admission list, many doubted this.

it is called INTERIM JOINT MATRICULATION BOARD, It is an A level program of 9 months that after completion qualifies you to 200 level in the above listed Nigerian Universities through Direct Entry.
It is a very legitimate program as can be seen in JAMB brochure.
This program doesn’t need jamb rather all its requires is your o’level result be it Waec, neco, nabteb etc.
c) UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA (IJMB Programme)
UNIABUJA is one of the schools that grants admission to students without JAMB, using the IJMB programme, all you need do is make sure you have your complete WAEC or NECO results and when their IJMB forms are out on sale, purchase and apply for the programme and in no distant time you will be a full time degree student.
d) ABU ZARIA (IJMB Programme)
Ahmadu Bello University Zaria organizes the IJMB programme too, just like other universities, your complete O’Level results must be available with a minimum of 5 Credit passes in relevant subjects to your proposed course. Register online for the IJMB programme as it is another surer means of gainind admission into ABU Zaria without the use of JAMB.
e) UNIPORT (BASICS Programme)
There’s barely any Nigerian tertiary institution that doesn’t offer diploma and/or pre-degree program. From what we all know about Diploma, it is a program that runs for 1/2/3 years depending on the school and course which upon completion give you admission into 200level through direct entry while pre-degree runs for 7months to 9months depending on the school which gives you admission into 100level upon completion.
BASIC in UNIPORT is just like the pre-degree program which runs for almost a year and those who pass are admitted into 100level.
University of Lagos (UNILAG) JUPEB Programme
The prestigious University of Lagos is one of the most sought after universities in Nigeria. The university runs the JUPEB (Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board) programme that admits students directly into 200 level upon passing the exam. The minimum required point for admission into UNILAG is 7 points. However, the higher you go, the higher your chances of being given admission. Importantly, UNILAG gives more priority to JUPEB candidates than UTME applicants.
f) DELSU (Predegree Programme)
Delta state university, DELSU offers students the opportunity to gain admission to study any of the available courses in her institution through their Pre-degree programme. It is a lifeline given to candidates who could not secure admission into the school through UTME. Most candidates have taken opportunity of this programme because the management of DELSU gives priority to these category of students as it is an internally organized programme so it has to live up to its expectations.
If you are looking for ways to gain admission into DELSU without JAMB, then this programme is best suited for you.
g) SOME PRIVATE INSTITUTIONS (MADONNA & CO, etc)
The beauty of some of these private institutions is the ease with which admission can easily be gotten.
In this case, the student can be admitted without JAMB and WAEC only on one condition, being that upon getting to 300level or final year, the basic admission requirements like JAMB and WAEC/NECO must be ready for submission for clearance.

The national open university of Nigeria application form is actually out now see the link http://www.noun.com.ng/national-open-university-of-nigeria-registration/ the only problem is that most schools do not accept awaiting results anymore. i would advise you visit their office to be double sure.

Mr Nelson, you cannot gain admission into the Polytechnic of your choice until you write another jamb. Your jamb score is only valid for that admission year it was written. Thanks

Most private universities do not necessarily need jamb in gaining admission at the initial stage of processing your entry into the school but would require you get it before getting to you 300 or 400 level.
