List of Accredited Courses Offered in Unilag Plus Admission Requirements

The University of Lagos, Akoko, Lagos state popularly known as UNILAG has released the list of accredited of courses offered in the institution. This gives candidates who aspire to further their education in UNILAG the ample opportunity to go through the courses that are offered in the institution.

UNILAG is widely regarded as one of the top 10 universities in Nigeria, and of course can compete with other universities academically and otherwise outside Nigeria. Some past students have referred to the institution as also one of the best universities for studying Engineering and Law Courses.

Upon completion of any of the courses offered UNILAG a certificate in B.Sc, B.Egnr, LLB and any of the Degrees are awarded to successful students as approved by the senate or governing council of the university.

Candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in UNILAG (University of Lagos) can now confirm if the course chosen is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB, and if you do not know how to go about the registration, see the step by step procedure on how to register for JAMB academic session.

The courses as seen below are the accredited courses offered in UNILAG for undergraduates only according to NUC (Nigerian University Commission) but interested candidates can still check out for UNILAG postgraduate courses, requirements  and postgraduate school fees for new students if they so desire.

Usually, upon choosing a course of study, it is usually advised prospective students or applicants go through some of the requirements required to be eligible to study the course in question, see below basic requirements to study any of the courses offered at UNILAG

  1. Candidate who wish to study in the university of Lagos (UNILAG) must be over 16 years of age in the year of admission
  2. One of the requirements into university of Lagos (UNILAG); candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects which must include English Language and mathematics at GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings in order to be qualified to study at the institution.
  3. Candidate must score above UNILAG’s JAMB cut off mark

Upon meeting the above requirements, candidates becomes automatically eligible for admission into UNILAG and their internal screening exercise.

So with the above information, prospective candidates should be clear as regards the requirements for the list of courses offered in UNILAG. However if you do not meet the requirements, you could opt for UNILAG part time programme as this does not require JAMB. All that is required is that you have your complete O’level result and purchase the form when it is out on sale.
