The management of NOUN (National Open University of Nigeria) Lagos has approved the payment of school fees payable by all fresh students who recently gained admission into the University.
NOUN has a reputation for fast academic session, it is the largest university in Nigeria, not by landmass but population and according to statistics, NOUN’s student’s population is estimated to be around 65,000.
After a plenary meeting with the governing council the university management came up with the conclusion of the schedule of tuition fee as seen in the table below.

NOUN is a federal government owned university and school fees are relatively very affordable, compared to other universities, tuition fee at NOUN is cheap therefore freshers are to pay in full and not on installment basis.
Kindly be informed that NOUN school fees for newly admitted students for this academic year as provided here could either be reviewed upwards or downwards as desired by the management of the university, though the management has assured that the tuition fee for2023/2024 admission year will remain so until further notice.
NOUN tuition fee as mentioned earlier is quite affordable and when compared to the tuition fees of other universities in Nigeria after going through the information provided below.

Nursing requirement in NOUN is same everywhere. See the requirement for Nursing for SSCE Holders:
Candidates for admission into the General Nursing Education Programme of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria must posses the Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent with five credits to include English Language and either Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Health Science at not more than 2 sittings.
But it’s stated on your site that their is no admission into 100 level in nursing except u are a registered nurse with nursing & midwifery council of nigeria.

The 40,000 naira is inclusive of all you are required to pay by the school. However, your departmental fee or minor levies are excluded from the tuition fee. The tuition fee is basically your course registration fee per course, exam fee per course and other minor fees. When you start your registration, you will confirm all that has been said here.
