The list of EKSU postgraduate programme has been released by the management and school authority of the university. All PG programmes comes with their various admission requirements so it is left to the student to select from the list of postgraduate courses outlined below, the course that suits his or her career path.
You can visit also visit EKSU postgraduate portal to read more about who is eligible, entry requirements for each course and other inportant information, that but for the sake of clarity purpose, we will be focusing strictly on the list of postgraduate programmes, admission requirements for PGD, M.Sc and Ph.D programmes plus duration of various PG programmes that are currently available in Ekiti state university popularly known as EKSU.
EKSU Postgraduate Admission Requirements
The following constitute the minimum entry requirements into our postgraduate programmes:
1.) Post – Graduate Diploma Programme
- A graduate from a recognized university with Pass or 3rd Class at the first degree in relevant programme may be admitted, provided the Matriculation and Departmental requirements of Ekiti State University are satisfied.
- A holder of a minimum of Upper Credit in the HND from a recognized institution may also be admitted.
2.) Masters Degree Programme
- A candidate with a first degree from a recognized university having a minimum of a Second Class Lower Division may be admitted, provided the University Matriculation and Departmental requirements are satisfied.
- A candidate with a minimum of Credit in the Postgraduate Diploma from a recognized university may also be admitted.
3.) M.Phil / PH.D Programme
- Candidates must possess a Masters degree from a recognized university with weighted average of 55.0 – 59.9
4.) Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree Programme
- A candidate with a good Masters degree having a weighted average of not below 60.0 or CGPA of 4.00 on a relative score of 5,00 (NOT Professional Masters) in the relevant or related discipline which includes course work and a defended research dissertation from a recognized university may be admitted provided the University Matriculation and Departments requirements are satisfied.
- A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.00 or 60.0 weighted average is required for candidates converting from M.Phil to Ph.D.

There is no Masters in public admission under EKSU postgraduate courses. What’s available are Public sector Accounting and Public Finance. If you are bent on studying at EKSU you could select from either of both.

You cannot go directly for MSC in public Administration or International relations. You have to go through PGD because these are two different faculties entirely

You won’t get any link for relating with them except you call their admission office. Though you will still be referred to their portal to access the admission form because that’s where all requirements are. Please note that sale of admission form for 2025/2026 session is still ongoing.
