Former French, Spanish and Portuguese colonies certainly do not have this problem. And in fact , the Academy could also be demonstrating a short-sighted or surface-level understanding of its purported inclusivity during this category”.
She went further to criticize the Oscar board for allowing the nominations of British movies that weren’t done English, which invariably is that the Country’s main language but did so within the case of Nigeria whose cultural diversity might be confounding yet true.
