🎓 General Qualifications and Requirements
For Academic Positions:

Professor: Minimum of 10 years post-doctoral experience with evidence of teaching and research in a recognized institution, plus at least 25 academic publications.

Associate Professor: Minimum of 8 years post-doctoral experience with not less than 20 publications.
-
Senior Lecturer: At least 6 years post-doctoral experience with 15 scholarly works.
-
Lecturer I: Minimum of 3 years post-doctoral experience with 5 publications.
-
Lecturer II: Possession of a PhD in a relevant field with 2 publications.
-
Assistant Lecturer: Must hold a Master’s degree (M.A., M.Ed., or M.Sc.) with proof of PhD admission and teaching potential.
Additional Requirements:

Five (5) O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.

Bachelor’s degree with at least Second-Class Lower Division (2:2).

NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is mandatory.

Membership in relevant professional bodies is required for senior-level positions in Environmental Sciences (e.g., ARCON, CORBON, ESVARBON, QSRBN, SURCON, TOPREC).
