i’m not 100% sure about this but i believe strongly you should be able to go for Masters in Public Admin with your PGD in Peace studies and Conflict resolutions

I was a 2016 MIRD student student.My final copies of my project were submitted to my supervisor Prof. Saleh, in Feb.2017.Our 2nd semester exams was in Dec. 2016.My complaint is that sometimes in Oct. 2017, my dept. Political science, asked me to go and pay additional school ‘s fees of 168,000. I had already paid my full school fees of 189,000 plus before I was allowed to seat for the Dec. 2016,2nd semester exams. As for UNIABUJA masters in public health, the duration depends on whether you intend running a full time or part-time programme, It takes between 18 to 24 months. The form is closed for the year so you practically cannot apply until early 2018.

And again i have a Bs.c in geology and i’d like to do my masters in Applied geophysics which is a subdisciplinary under Geology but here in UniAbuja, Applied geophysics is under physics department. I hope there will be no need for me to do a pgd.
So long as Applied geophysics is a sub-discipline under Geology it does not matter the faculty its under, you do not have to go through PGD. For example, Accounting is classified under social science faculty while in some universities, it is classified under management sciences and this does not stop a graduate from a school where accounting is classified under social sciences to go through PGD in Accounting in a school where it is classified under Management science faculty. you are good to go. UNIABUJA PG form for 2025/2026 will be out towards Sept/October. However, we shall post it on our blog as soon as it is out because me are monitoring it very closely.
