Abia State University (ABSU) school fees fresh students 2025/2026 academic session as seen below is for indigenes and non-indigenes. Usually, school fees are classified based on the faculties, for example, faculty of law school fees could be different from Faculty of management or Faculty of engineering as this depends on the university unlike private universities in Nigeria where different departments in the same faculty pay different school fees.

The Vice Chancellor on behalf of the school authority has approved Abia State University – ABSU fees for freshers, both indigenes and non-indigenes for 2025/2026 admission year.

Students can pay their fees installments on or before the stipulated date as approved by the university except for Faculty of Law, Engineering, Medicine and School of nursing whom are expected to pay their tuition fees in full.

ABSU school fees can be paid online using any working Bank debit cards. All you need to do is go on the ABSU portal and follow the school fees payment instructions and you are good to go.

This information is for fresh and returning students who have chosen Abia State University – ABSU as their preferred choice of Institution during the UTME registration.

Abia State University – ABSU tuition fee for both fresh and returning students as seen in the table below does not include acceptance fee for newly students, its is strictly the school fees payable by new students as mandated by the management of the University.

All newly admitted students are to take note:

A) Kindly note that Abia State University – ABSU acceptance fee is to be paid first upon admission into the Institution, this is a process applicable in all Universities in Nigeria, be it private, Federal or states. It serves as a proof of acceptance of the provisional admission from JAMB.

B) Kindly be informed that late payment of Abia State University – ABSU school fees or acceptance fee by both fresh and returning students for 2025/2026 session would attract extra charges and failure to pay the fees on time could lead to the student’s inability to seat for their semester examination or forfeiture of admission as approved by the management of the university.

NB: Abia state university portal for school fees payment would be shut down by management as failure to pay before the grace period would amount to extra payment or prevention of sitting for semester exam by the school authority.
