OAU Post-UTME/DE Eligibility Requirements
a) JAMB Cut Off Mark:
Candidates must score at least 200 and above in the 2020 UTME and must have selected Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (OAU) as their first choice of Institution in their 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination registration exercise.
b) Candidates who did not choose OAU as their first choice institution, but wish to study in the institution are ELIGIBLE to apply for OAU Post UTME on the grounds that such candidate(s) must have successfully completed a change of Institution and course to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife on the JAMB Portal before the closing date.
c) Candidates with AWAITING RESULTS who selected OAU as their 1st choice of institution during the 2020 UTME registration or changed their institution and course to OAU now have a window of grace till Friday 28th November, 2020 to complete and regularize their registration.
d) O’Level Requirements:
Candidate must have obtained at least five (5) credit passes at GCE O/L, SSCE, NECO, or their equivalent and these subjects must include English Language, and Mathematics.
- One of the passes shall be a pass at ‘O’ Level or equivalent in English Language.
- Except in the cases of candidate for admission to the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Law, and for the Bachelor of Arts in Education in the Faculty of Education, one of the credit passes shall be a pass at ‘O’ Level or equivalent in Mathematics.
e) OAU DE Requirement:
Obafemi Awolowo University will admit only candidates who made at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects AT NOT MORE THAN TWO SITTINGS.
f) Pre-degree and JUPEB Candidates:
Candidates who made the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife their First Choice Institution in the 2020/2021 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible for screening. OAU PRE-DEGREE and OAU JUPEB Candidates’ are expected to register as from Monday 12th and end on Saturday 31st October 2020.

Please note that before starting your application, you need to have an active email address. This is needed for receiving information from OAU as regards the progress of your application form.
To apply for OAU post UTME form online, candidates must adhere strictly to the following guidelines:
First thing to do is to log on to OAU’s University eportal to register for the post-UTME screening exercise and follow the steps below:
STEP 1: Login with their JAMB Registration Number to download RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) and payment online or at any commercial bank.
STEP 2: Update JAMB data and upload Results (i.e WAEC, NECO, JUPEB, ND, NCE etc)
STEP 3: Upload scanned copy of credentials and upload passport photograph (if not available)
STEP 4: Print completed Admission Screening form
STEP 5: Applicants that provide false information, or upload incorrect credentials will automatically be disqualified.

Closing Date For Submission of OAU Post UTME Admission Form
The management has announced that the closing date of OAU post UTME admission form and DE form for 2020/2021 academic session is 30th of October 2020. All completed forms must be submitted on or before 30th of October, 2020. Note that there shall be no extension for submission of application forms after the deadline.
