Yes there is an age limit for admission into the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Ideally you are supposed to be up to 18 years and above to before you can be admitted into any higher institution in Nigeria but times have changed. If you are 16 years and above, you can gain admission into OAU. However some departments would require you are up to 17 years of age at least. OAU Cut Off Mark

OAU Post-UTME/DE Eligibility Requirements
a) JAMB Cut Off Mark: Candidates must score at least 200 and above in the 2020 UTME and must have selected Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (OAU) as their first choice of Institution in their 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination registration exercise.
b) Candidates who did not choose OAU as their first choice institution, but wish to study in the institution are ELIGIBLE to apply for OAU Post UTME on the grounds that such candidate(s) must have successfully completed a change of Institution and course to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife on the JAMB Portal before the closing date.
c) Candidates with AWAITING RESULTS who selected OAU as their 1st choice of institution during the 2020 UTME registration or changed their institution and course to OAU are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for OAU post UTME form for the 2020/2021 academic session.
d) O’Level Requirements: Candidate must have obtained at least five (5) credit passes at GCE O/L, SSCE, NECO, or their equivalent and these subjects must include English Language, and Mathematics.
- One of the passes shall be a pass at ‘O’ Level or equivalent in English Language.
- Except in the cases of candidate for admission to the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Law, and for the Bachelor of Arts in Education in the Faculty of Education, one of the credit passes shall be a pass at ‘O’ Level or equivalent in Mathematics.
e) OAU DE Requirement: Obafemi Awolowo University will admit only candidates who made at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects AT NOT MORE THAN TWO SITTINGS.

To apply for OAU post UTME form online, candidates must adhere strictly to the following guidelines:
First thing to do is to log on to OAU’s University eportal to register for the POST-UTME screening exercise effective from 19th July, 2020 and follow the steps below:
STEP 1: Login with their JAMB Registration Number to download RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) and payment online or at any commercial bank.
STEP 2: Update JAMB data and upload Results (i.e WAEC, NECO, JUPEB, ND, NCE etc)
STEP 3: Upload scanned copy of credentials and upload passport photograph (if not available)
STEP 4: Print completed Admission Screening form
STEP 5: Applicants that provide false information, or upload incorrect credentials will automatically be disqualified.
STEP 6: Candidates will also be required to participate in the Post-UTME screening on their allotted date and time.
PRINTING OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SLIP
Please note that this slip is a very important document that must be carried along when going for your screening test at OAU. Any candidate that fails to carry this document automatically won’t be allowed into the exam hall.
Closing Date For Submission of OAU Post UTME/DE Form
The closing date for submission of all post UTME and DE forms will be communicated to us by the management in due time. There are no fixed dates, the meeting by the management of OAU Ile-ife shall determine the most suitable date for the closing date.
