NOUN Admission Requirements For Fresh Students (100 Level)

Seeking for admission into NOUN as an Under graduates? Here are the NOUN official requirements:

a) You are required to score up to five (5) credits in the SSCE/GCE O’Level/NECO/NABTEB or equivalents at not more than two (2) sittings, which you must have obtained in subjects which are relevant to the proposed field(s) of study.

b) Applicants should take note, that the “Teachers’ Grade II Certificate with a minimum of five merits or its combination with any of the certificates listed under (1) to obtain equivalent of five credits at ‘O’ levels.

c) We would also love to inform all candidates, who are currently seeking for admission into the NOUN School of Law, that they must have up to five (5) credits, which must include the following subjects:

  • English Language,
  • Literature in English,
  • At least a credit Pass in Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in.

NOUN Admission Requirements For 200 Level (Direct Entry)

Every tertiary institution have their various admission requirements for Direct Entry students, though similar they might be, there definitely will be some slight differences based on the school’s preferences.

Firstly, it is in terms of flexibility as admission into NOUN is meant for both students and Working-class professionals.

How To Apply For Admission Into NOUN (National Open University of Nigeria) Online

  • Firstly, visit NOUN official website on www.nouonline.net
  • On the Home Page, go to the Menu Bar, Click on Apply for Admission
  • Select either Undergraduate Programme or Postgraduate Programme (for PG applicants)
  • Click on “Choose Faculty” (note it can be found at the left hand side of the screen)
  • Select Faculty
  • Fill the form that will be displayed on your screen and click below to view admission criteria
  • Click “Apply” to proceed.
  • Take note of the UNIQUE ID displayed as it is very important for other registrations
