Admission Requirements
Admission into CU require that you must obtained a minimum of 5 O’level credit passes in mathematics and English language plus any other 3 subjects relevant to your course of study in not more than 2 sittings. This applies to both UTME and DE applicants.
You must have obtained a minimum of 140 UTME cut off mark in the 2025 UTME. DE candidates with ND certificate must have at least a lower credit, JUPEB candidates must have obtained a minimum of 6points above.

Law is offered in CU. I know students who graduated from CU from faculty of Law
My son was not really decided on choice of course to study at the university at the time of completing jamb form. He kept calling different courses so we advice him to go for medicine. He scored 339 in jamb and now he does not want to do medicine but engineering. I learnt that since he did not register mathematics in jamb ,he cannot offer Chemical engineering cos we want to apply for change of course/institution. Is this true ,what can be done, pls.
No he cannot change to engineering without mathematics.
You should get him a book on career guide, indecision is his problem, he needs proper guidance, if he truly wants engineering he must have to register for jamb next year. But get him a book on career guide.
