MODE OF ADMISSION
The Pre-degree programme is designed to run for two semesters (one academic session). Mode of study is classroom face to face lectures at Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for the Pre-Degree Programme, candidates must:
- Possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in not more than two sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Agricultural Science.
- Register and sit for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Application Process
Interested candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦15,000 via FUTO Remita and complete their application online.
Steps to Apply:
Step 1 – Visit the official FUTO website at www.futo.edu.ng.
Step 2 – Click on “School Portal” and select “Pre-Degree” under the “Our Programmes” menu.
Step 3 – Click on “Generate Invoice” and fill in the required details.
Step 4 – Proceed to make payment using the RRR number generated from the invoice.
Step 5 – payment, return to the application portal, input the RRR number, and complete the application form.
Step 6 – Submit the form online and print a copy for reference.
