In a move to accommodate more prospective students, the Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA) has announced an extension of the closing date for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME online screening exercise.
Originally set to conclude on August 29, 2025, the registration portal will now remain open until midnight on Friday, September 12, 2025.
This decision comes as a relief to thousands of UTME candidates who may have faced challenges in completing their applications amid the ongoing admission season.
The extension was officially communicated through the university’s website, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to providing equal opportunities for all eligible applicants.
FULOKOJA, established in 2011 as one of Nigeria’s federal universities, continues to grow its reputation for academic excellence in fields such as sciences, humanities, and social sciences. The Post-UTME screening is a crucial step for admission into its undergraduate programs, requiring candidates to have scored at least 170 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and selected the university as their first choice.

The process involves logging into the university’s admission portal, paying a non-refundable fee of N2,000 via Remita, and uploading necessary documents including O’Level results, JAMB score slip, and a recent passport photograph. Eligibility extends to Direct Entry candidates with relevant qualifications like A-Levels or National Diplomas.
