Anambra State University- ANSU Admission List 2020/2021 Out

We here by inform all candidates who were successful in their post UTME 2020/2021 screening exercise that Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) popularly referred to as ANSU (Anambra State University,Uli) post UTME, that the management of the university has released the 1st batch admission list for the 2020/2021 academic session.

Candidates that scored passed the minimum average score are eligible to check if their names are on the provisional admission list.

The management has indicated that another admission list will be released, you are advised to keep checking, however we shall update you should there be a release of ANSU second batch admission list for this academic session (2020/2021)

You can check ANSU admission list using two verified methods;

  1. ANSU Portal
  2. JAMB E-facility Website (JAMB CAPS)

Please see below, the two methods you can use in confirming if your name appeared on the ANSU admission list.


How to Check ANSU 2020/2021 Admission List

Step 1: Go to ANSU admission portal at

Step 2: Login to the portal using your JAMB registration number

Step 3: Print out an invoice and go to the University’s designated banks (Fidelity Bank, Eco Bank or Zenith Bank) and make the payment of One thousand five hundred naira (N1,500) only.

Access PIN code for authorized login into the University portal to see your admission status will be issued to candidates following the payment at the bank.


The process of checking if your name is on ANSU admission list via JAMB CAPS is quite an easy one, how ever, some basic requirements are needed before you start this process:

  1. Your JAMB registration number must be made available
  2. Email Address attached to your JAMB during your online UTME registration
  3. Password to the above email address
  4. Upon having the above requirements then you can resume the next level which is how to check your admission status using JAMB CAPS

How To Check ANSU/COOU Admission List for 2020/2021 Session Using JAMB CAPS


All candidates are to simply click on the JAMB CAPS portal See below for image on what to see when you click on the above link and insert your email address and password then click on the blue LOGIN button just directly underneath the password box.


Upon login with your EMAIL and PASSWORD, your dashboard opens (Candidates Dashboard) this contains various menus and selections, here you will see a drop-down menu (Examination Year) just directly under the dashboard, click it and change it to the current year. then click on CHECK UTME/DE ADMISSION STATUS ON CAPS button and change the year of admission you want to confirm (Change to 2020 using the drop-down menu)

Upon completing Steps 1 and 2, the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) page opens and on the left you will see a list of commands, click on CHECK ADMISSION STATUS link and a page opens for the next line of action.

After clicking on Admission Status, you are to click on it to proceed to the next stage of confirming your admission status on JAMB CAPS.


After you must have competed Step 3, a page displaying your JAMB registration number is shows, you do not need to input your JAMB registration number any longer, all that is required of you is to click on the CHECK ADMISSION STATUS button and confirm if your name is on the ANSU/COOU admission list.


If admission is offered, newly candidate is expected to accept the offer by paying his/her acceptance fees within two weeks from the date of release of the list.
