Federal University of Technology Minna popularly known as FUTMINNA known as one of the top 10 Universities in Nigeria has released its school fees schedule for new and returning students 2026/2027 academic session. students are advised on early payments to avoid extra charges on late payments.
Please note that FUTMINNA school fee schedule for new students 2026/2027 academic session as seen in the table below has been broken down based on fees and charges payable by both new and returning students.
FUTMINNA increased school fees of new and returning students to N61,450 and N28,450 respectively. It has been effected on the table below

i) FUTMINNA Acceptance Fee of N20. 000.00 is payable by students in all Schools (Nigeria & Int Students)
ii) Hostel Accommodation (Handled by the Managers).
iii) Hostel Services Charge (under a separate arrangement)
iv) WEP – A charge of N5, 000.00 is payable by students participating in SWEP
v) Field Trip – A charge of N5. 000.00 is payable by students in participating Departments while N10,000.00 is payable by students studying the following courses: Geoinformatics Geology, Biological Sciences and Surveying.

First and foremost, DE students are not freshers because they have gained admission into 200 level. They are simply paying what fresh students pay because they are now being converted to Full-time degree programme. Except they are predegree students who gained admission into 100 level, then they are considered freshers.
Acceptance fee is 20,000 Naira and this fee is to be paid just once by both UTME and Direct entry fresh students.
The FUTMINNA school fees stated there contains all necessary fees payable by both UTME and DE students. However some fees are likely to change slightly but you will be notified at the point of payment if there are slight increments.

So long as you pass FUTMINNA JAMB cut off mark you are automatically eligible for post UTME. Your WAEC or NECO result must be complete too.

Of course you are eligible to apply but your LOWER CREDIT is a bit of a challenge because Upper Credit and above would have made your admission much easier
