This is to inform all fresh and returning students of Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU) that the management of the institution has adjusted the academic calendar for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The SAZU adjusted academic calendar has been designed to run for a period of 1 year approximately. All academic and non-academic activities have been scheduled to take place within the approved timeframe as adjusted by the management of the university.

Short Notes for Students

Resumption and Registration will take place during the first two weeks of December to enable students to complete all necessary clearances and settle into their hostels.

Lectures will run from early December to late February, with only short breaks for Christmas and New Year.

The GST examinations are scheduled to precede the main examination period in March.

A four-week semester break follows the examinations, with Ed-el-Fitr and Easter celebrations occurring within this period.
