Nse Ikpe-Etim Sule is a renowned Nigerian actress. She became prominently known for her role in Reloaded in the year 2008. She was nominated for Best Actress during a Leading Role at the 5th and 8th Africa Movie Academy Awards for her role in Reloaded and Mr. and Mrs., respectively. In 2014, she won the most effective Actress during a Drama award at the 2014 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for enjoying “Nse” in Journey to Self.

Nse Ikpe-Etim’s Biography

Nse was born in Kaduna where she attended Awa preschool and Command grade school in Kaduna State, from where she then furthered her studies at St Louis College, Jos, and also the federal Colleges in Jos and Ilorin. She said that her family was often transferred to varied regions of Nigeria thanks to her father’s career with the central bank of Nigeria. Etim got her degree in Theater Arts from the University of Calabar.

When growing up the films star had things really rough for her in particular in her debut season, there have been many challenges and set backs, but she didn’t let that get the better of her. As time went on she grew into the film industry gradually until she finally became a household name.

Etim is also the first of six children. In an interview with Toolz, she stated that she’s had Caucasian Godparents. She got married her childhood friend Clifford Sule on the 14th of February 2013 at a Lagos registry. a standard wedding followed in her hometown in Akwa Ibom State and Lagos State, respectively, some months after the marital status . She currently resides in London along with her husband, a senior lecturer at Middlesex University who frequents Nigeria for film engagements.

At 18, Etim started working on stage at the university. She debuted in a tv appearance which was in the family soap Inheritance. After her graduation from university she temporarily left the movie industry to venture in other endeavours before making a comeback with Emem Isong’s Reloaded alongside Ramsey Nouah, Rita Dominic, Ini Edo and Desmond Elliot.

Actress Nse-Ikpe Etim has penned down a stunning note to her husband, Clifford Sule, as they celebrated their 7th anniversary on February 14th.

In her post, the actress revealed the struggles they’ve both been through and the way they often manage to beat them.

Popular Nollywood actress, Nse Ikpe-Etim has revealed why she removed her womb.

The actress, who spoke at an occasion in Lekki Lagos State tagged ‘Conversation with Nse’, said she removed her womb to measure a normal life.

According to the state , she said she was diagnosed three years ago with Adenomyosis, a condition whereby the inner lining of the uterus breaks through the muscle wall of the uterus, adding that she had to get rid of her uterus so as to measure a traditional life. “I was told I couldn’t have kids, so, I had to possess a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) to form me have a life again and to prevent browsing what i used to be browsing .

“I’m literarily telling women and men, it really doesn’t matter if you can’t bear children. What really matters is what you’d do for the world, for the universe.”

“The day i used to be informed I had to get rid of my Uterus tears dropped then my husband squeezed my hand. it had been reassuring there was someone there and it had been telling me that this is often reality, my reality.”

“I didn’t think there was any point anymore because my society taught me that I even have to be a mother to be appreciated and each time I went online, i might have one troll or two say ‘you never born?’

“But I’m thankful that that didn’t break me.”

“I’m thankful for Nollywood. I push my pain through every single character.”

“Prior to the hysterectomy, I badly wanted to possess children.

“I wanted a group of twins. I wanted children. I wanted so badly i used to be brooding forever. I did IVF. I did everything our society wants every woman to try and do in order that we can be accepted as women,” she added.
