The Institute of Continuing Education, University of Lagos (UNILAG) in collaboration with the Faculty of Education (Sandwich) is receiving applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Sandwich Degree (B.Ed., B.A.Ed. and B.Sc.Ed.) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

UNILAG Sandwich Admission Requirements

All candidates who possess five credit (5) passes in relevant O’Level subjects including English and Mathematics at not more than TWO sittings are eligible to apply.

Who is Eligible?

1. 5 year programme: candidates who possess at least Five (5) ‘O’ level Credit pass in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than TWO sittings.
2. 4 year programme: candidates who possess Merit in related Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) courses.
3. 3 year programme: Candidates with Bachelor’s Degree or HND in relevant courses with Postgraduate Diploma in Education.

How to Apply for UNILAG Sandwich Admission Form

The Application forms are obtainable online via UNILAG website. To apply, please follow the steps below;

Step 1 – You are to visit UNILAG website @ http://www.unilag.edu.ng

Step 2 – Obtain the sandwich form using ATM/Sach/Dedicated Teller obtainable on payment of non-refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15, 000:00) only paid into any bank within the campus using Treasury Single Account (TSA) via Remita Platform.

Step 3 – All completed application forms should be submitted online and a hard copy of the completed forms should be submitted to the Sandwich Programme Office, Faculty of Education. Examination date will be communicated to applicants.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS AND ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS

Completed application forms should be submitted online and a hard copy of the completed forms in colour print should be submitted to Sandwich Office, Faculty of Education.

Examinations for these programmes which will be in English Language, Mathematics and General Paper are as scheduled below:

• Candidates are expected to come to the examination hall with the colour print of their Application Form.
