UNILAG Part-time (ICE) Admission Form 2025/2026 Session: How To Register

The Institute of Continuing Education, the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Part-Time Degree Admission Form for 2025/2026 academic session is now out. UTME candidates who missed out on the opportunity of gaining admission via UTME full time can take advantage of this mode of admission as it is one of the means of gaining admission without JAMB.

This is therefore to inform parents and guardians, students and the general public that the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) is now receiving application from suitably qualified candidates for admission into UNILAG Part-Time Degree programme for 2025/2026 academic session into her Bachelor of Art (B.A) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

• Application will be in two (2) stages: JAMB and ICE (Sandwich) UNILAG.
• All completed application forms are to be submitted on or before 14th November, 2025.
• There will be no UTME examination for the Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) UNILAG candidates.
• The Programmes run in the evening.
• Candidates who possess five (5) ‘O’Level credits in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than TWO sittings are eligible to apply.

 How to Apply for UNILAG Part-Time Admission Form

Applying for UNILAG part time degree programme online is ver smply only if you follow the procedures below;

Application will be in two stages:

Stage 1: Log in to JAMB CAPS website and register. Pay a sum of ₦3,500 to enable you obtain a JAMB registration number. NO UTME EXAM is required.

Stage 2: Log in to UNILAG application portal – http://applications.unilag.edu.ng

Stage 3: Click “Start Fresh Application”

Stage 4: Select ICE as application type, then provide your Surname, First Name, Middle Name, JAMB registration number, Mobile Phone Number and E-mail Address.

Stage 5: Click the “Pay now” to pay online, the processing fee of ₦15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira Only) or Print the Payment Advice with Remita Number to make payment at any bank within the University off Lagos.

Stage 6: Return to the Application Portal – http://applications.unilag.edu.ng after payment, click “continue application”, enter your payment reference number and your surname in lower case as password.

Stage 7: Complete all the required details and upload the necessary documents

Stage 8: Complete the application form, submit online and print two copies. (Candidate can save their application form for later editing)

Stage 9: Submit one of the hard copy of the completed forms in colour prints to the Department you have applied and one to the ICE office.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

1. Candidates are required to participate in an entrance examination for these programmes which will be in English Language and General Paper. For Management sciences, Mathematics is inclusive.
2. Candidates are expected to be at the examination venue by 7:45am with a color print of their application forms.
3. Provisional Admission Letters would be ready for collection two weeks after the entrance

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS AND ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS

The management has directed that all completed application be submitted both via online and hard copy. Furthermore, the completed forms must be printed out in COLOUR and NOT BLACK AND WHITE after which must be submitted to Office Room 634 for programmes under faculty of Art, while Management Sciences in the Departments of Actuarial Science and Insurance and Social Sciences in the Departments of Mass Communication, Social Work and Sociology Offices.

Entrance examinations for the programmes which will be in English Language and General Knowledge are as scheduled below:

• Candidates are expected at the examination hall by 9:00am  with the colour print of their Application forms.
• Provisional Admission Letters would be ready for collection two weeks after the entrance examination.
