UNIBEN resumption date for 2020/2021 academic session has been announced. The Federal Government through the NUC instructed all universities to resume academic activities on the 18th of January 2021 on the grounds that all COVID-19 protocols are observed by these institutions. However, the new resumption date for the university has been postponed to the 30th of January, 2021.
However, I will keep you updated should there be a change on the UNIBEN resumption date for both fresh and returning students for the continuation of academic activities.
The management has directed that all students stay safe by observing social distancing and regularly washing their hands to avoid the risk of being infected from the corona virus.
For now, the university of Benin shall remain closed until the above date until 30th of January 2021 when full academic activities will commence with immediate effect.
UNIBEN Resumption Date For Fresh And Returning Students
The management has directed that the UNIBEN resumption date for 2020/2021 academic session for all students is 30th of January 2021 as directed by the management of the university. This date is 12 days after the publicised date announced by the Federal Government through the National Universities Commission (NUC).
All students are to keep close communication with their various class representatives via whatsapp group to keep being updated as regards flow of information from their various departmental heads. Both fresh and returning students are to resume on file same date.
Academic activities, that is Lecture will kick off as soon as the school resumes for the continuation of the semester.
Students are advised to come along with their facemasks and hand sanitisers as part of the preventive measures adopted by the school to help curve the spread of the Corona virus disease among students.
