UNIBEN Commences Online Registration and Clearance 2025/2026 Session

The Management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) wishes to notify all candidates who have been successfully offered provisional admission into the institution for the 2025/2026 academic session that the acceptance fee payment and clearance process has officially commenced.

All newly admitted students are required to complete their admission registration online via the University’s official portal by following the outlined steps carefully.

🔹 Steps to Process Your UNIBEN Admission and Acceptance Fee

1. Visit the Official Portal:
   Go to portal.uniben.edu and click on the Login Menu.

2. Login to Your Account:
   Use your JAMB Registration Number as User ID and enter your Password.

3. Provide a Valid Email Address:
   When prompted, input an active personal email address. Your Student ID and new password will be sent to this email.

4. Retrieve Login Credentials:
   Check your email inbox for the message from UNIBEN. Copy your Student ID and Password, then click “Login to Student Portal.”

5. Access the Student Dashboard:
   Use your new Student ID and password to log in to your portal again.

6. Start Clearance Process:
   On your dashboard, go to the ACADEMICS tab and select CLEARANCE to begin your online clearance procedure.

7. Pay the Acceptance Fee:
   Use the Bank Transfer Option on REMITA for your payment.
   ⚠️ Note: Debit card payments are currently unavailable.

8. Refresh Payment Status:
   After payment, ensure you log out and log in again to refresh and confirm your payment status.

9. Complete the Clearance Form:
   Fill out your Clearance Form accurately and submit it online for official approval.

Following these steps will help you complete your registration smoothly without delays.
