The list of accredited courses offered in AUK – Al-qalam University Katsina formerly known as Katsina state University has been released by the school and management of the University.
The importance of these courses cannot be overemphasized as this gives aspiring candidates who selected Al-qalam University Katsina as their preferred choice of institution during the UTME registration and with interest in furthering their education the ample opportunity to go through the courses that best suits their career path.
Al-qalam University Katsina though may not be among the top 10 state universities in Nigeria, but of course can compete with its state and federal counterparts academically and otherwise.
Upon completion of any of the courses offered AUK a degree in B.Sc, B.Edu and B.A and in your respective programmes are awarded to successful students as approved by the senate or governing body of the university.

- Firstly, candidates with aspiration to study in Al-qalam University Katsina must be over 16 years of age in the year of admission
- Entry requirements into Al-qalam University Katsina : candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects which must include English Language and mathematics at GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings in order to be qualified to study at the institution.
- Candidate must meet the current minimum AUK JAMB cut off mark.
Upon meeting the above requirements, candidates becomes automatically eligible for admission into AUK – Al-qalam University Katsina and their internal screening exercise.

You asked if you could still be admitted without including al-qalam University, the answer is YES but on the ground that you must have changed your institution from the current one to al-qalam University and confirmed that it has been changed from JAMB, that is the only way you can gain admission. Other than this method then it is not possible.
