The Postgraduate School of Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, hereby invites applications from qualified candidates for supplementary admission into select Part-Time Postgraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This supplementary admission exercise covers specialized programmes across three academic units: the Centre for Financial Forensic Investigation and Analytics (CFFA), the Centre for Peace and Security Studies, and the School of Transport and Logistics.
✅ General Admission Requirements for All Applicants

A minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language, obtained through WASSCE, GCE, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent.

For programmes in Sciences, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, and Transport & Logistics, a credit in Mathematics at the O’Level is compulsory.

📘 Available Supplementary Part-Time Programmes and Requirements
🔍 A. Centre for Financial Forensic Investigation and Analytics (CFFA)
▪ Master in Business Forensic (MBF)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum Second Class Lower) in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related fields.
- OR a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting or Business Forensics from a recognized institution.
Programme Duration:
The programme has been scheduled to last for 4 semesters (Part-Time)
▪ Doctor in Business Forensic (DBF)
Eligibility Criteria:
- A relevant Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Applicants with professional experience in forensic auditing or financial investigations are preferred.
- Strong research and analytical skills will be an added advantage.
Programme Duration:
The programme will run for 6 semesters (Part-Time)
🕊️ B. Centre for Peace and Security Studies
▪ Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Border and Migration Studies
Who Can Apply:
- Graduates from disciplines such as Peace & Conflict Studies, Geography, International Relations, History, Law, Social Sciences, Humanities, Environmental Sciences, Medicine, Engineering, and related fields.
- HND holders with Upper Credit may also apply.
- All applicants must participate in the screening interview.
▪ Master’s Degree in Border and Migration Studies (MA)
Eligibility Criteria:
- O’Level with 5 credit passes (including English) in no more than two sittings.
- First degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower; Third Class holders must possess a relevant PGD with good standing.
- Candidates with Upper Credit PGD in Border & Migration Studies, Diaspora Studies, or Peace Studies are eligible.
- Priority consideration will be given to government-sponsored applicants (e.g., Customs, Immigration, Police, NDLEA, etc.).
- Screening interview is mandatory.
▪ M.Phil/Ph.D in Border and Migration Studies
Eligibility:
- Master’s degree in Border & Migration Studies with minimum CGPA of 3.0
▪ Ph.D in Border and Migration Studies
Eligibility:
- Master’s degree in the same field with a minimum CGPA of 4.0

A non-refundable fee of ₦30,300 (Thirty Thousand, Three Hundred Naira only) is to be paid online via the LASU application portal.

Step 1 – Visit: https://lasu.edu.ng
Step 2 – Go to the STUDENTS tab and click on New Application > PG School/ACEITSE.
Step 3 – Click “Step 1” to create your Application Number by entering your personal information and selecting your desired programme.
Step 4 – Copy the Application Number generated.
Step 5 – Proceed to “Step 2” to pay the application fee.
Step 6 – After payment, return to “Step 3”, enter your Application Number and Surname to access the full form.
Step 7 – Complete and submit the form online.
Step 8 – Print a copy of your completed application for reference.

Deadline: All applications must be submitted on or before Thursday 23rd July, 2025.

Candidates must attend the qualifying Entrance Examination at the LASU Main Campus, Ojo.

NYSC completion is mandatory for admission.

All academic transcripts must be submitted within two weeks after application closes.

Departmental transfers after submission will not be allowed.

No resit or make-up examination will be conducted for missed screening tests.
