KWARAPOLY Post UTME Screening Form 2020/2021 Session: How To Apply

KWARAPOLY Post UTME Screening admission form for 2020/2021 academic session has been released. The management of the Kwara State Polytechnic invites all candidates who have applied for admission into the Institution’s various National Diploma (ND) Full-Time programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session to register for the Post-UTME screening exercise.

To be eligible for KWARAPOLY Post UTME Screening exercise, candidates must have chosen Kwara State Polytechnic as their first or second choice and scored the minimum JAMB score for Polytechnics in the 2020/2021 UTME. Any candidate with Lower Scores should not apply.

ENTRY ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) PROGRAMMES:

a) National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant field and five relevant O/L credit passes at WASC, GCE, NECO and NABTEB at not more than two sittings. These credit passes must include English Language and Mathematics.

b) Evidence of one year post – National Diploma (ND) cognate experience (i.e. Industrial Training)

c) Applicants with Pass Grade in the National Diploma (ND) will be required to have at least two years Post-National Diploma industrial experience.

d) Applicants for Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology (Post-Harvest Technology option) are required to have at least a Lower Credit grade at National Diploma (ND) programme in any of the following:

  • Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology
  • Agricultural Technology
  • Food Science and Technology
  • Agricultural Engineering Technology

e) Applicants for Metallurgical Engineering Technology are expected to be graduates of National Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering Technology only.

f) Applicants for Mining Engineering Technology are expected to be graduates of National Diploma in Mineral Resources or Mining Engineering Technology only.

g) Holders of ND Computer Engineering are not admissible into HND Electrical / Electronics Engineering Technology and HND Computer Science Programmes.

h) Candidates will not be admitted into HND programmes different from what he/she had in ND programmes.

i) Holders of ND Mass Communication will not be admitted into HND Public Administration.

IT IS MANDATORY FOR HND FULL TIME APPLICANTS TO FILL THE JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBERS USED FOR THEIR ND PROGRAMMES. ONLY APPLICANTS WITH JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBERS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION.

NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) PROGRAMMES (PART-TIME)

a) Applicants for admission into Part-Time National Diploma (ND) programmes will be required to have a minimum of five O/L Credits in relevant subjects at SSCE, GCE, NECO and NABTEB at not more than two sittings.

b) CREDIT PASSES IN MATHEMATICS AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARE COMPULSORY FOR ALL APPLICANTS SEEKING ADMISSION INTO ANY PROGRAMME IN THE POLYTECHNIC. IN ADDITION, THE OTHER THREE SUBJECTS MUST BE RELEVANT TO THE COURSE OF CHOICE.

c) Applicants for admission into Part-Time National Diploma (ND) programmes will be required to register at the JAMB e-Facility portal via https://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility./Login

How To Apply for Kwara Poly HND Admission Form (Full-time & Part Time)

Applications for admission will be done fully online. To apply online for HND(FULL TIME AND PART-TIME) ND(PART-TIME), log on to www.kwarastatepolytechnic.edu.ng and follow the instructions there.

Note:

  1. Applicants awaiting Results will not be considered for admission.
  2. All applications attract a fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) exclusive of bank and other charges.
  3. All payments for application should be made through ‘College Pay’ using your Debit Card, Master Card, or Prepaid Card.
  4. All applications close on Friday, 31stJuly, 2020.
  5. Applicants sitting for the 2020 November/December Ordinary Level Examinations are not eligible for admission

How to Apply for Kwarapoly Post UTME Form Online

Candidates will be required to pay a screening fee of N2,000.00 only, through Interswitch Web pay platform using ATM Cards (Master Card, Verve Card and other Interswitch enabled Cards).

STEP 1 – Go to Kwara Poly admission screening portal @ https://kwarapolyportal.org/appo.php.

STEP 2 -Click on appropriate application link.

STEP 3 -Create your profile by completing the form.

After-which;

1) Click on Resume Application on the left menu to continue.

  • Enter personal details on the next screen and click continue.
  • Enter JAMB details alongside your first and second choices and click continue.
  • Enter O’Level details with number of sittings and click continue.
  • Upload Passport Photograph (50KB maximum size) and click continue.

2) Click on Screening Application on the left menu to continue.

  • Read the declaration and click on Proceed button to continue.
  • Upload your documents and click on “Upload and Continue”.
  • Enter Next of Kin Information and click on Continue.
  • Read Payment Instructions carefully and click on the Notification Tab.
  • Click on Continue to see payment details.
  • Click on CollegePay button to proceed to payment OR
  • Click on Cancel button to terminate the payment process.

3) Make Payment

  • Select your ATM card type (e.g Verve or Master Card)
  • Enter your Card Number
  • Enter Card Expiry Date and the card CVV2 (the 3 digits on the reverse side of the card and lastly enter your card pin; and
  • Then click on Pay.

4) After successful payment, Click the appropriate button to print Application Documents and Payment Slip.

5) You can click Reprint on the left menu to reprint your documents.

Please Note:

  • The Portal opens on Monday, 26th August, 2020 at 12.01 am and closes on Monday, 9th September, 2020, at 11.59 pm. No further payment or registration will be allowed after the closure.
  • The screening exercise date will be communicated later.
  • The screening exercise will be by Computer Based Test (CBT).
  • Candidates should ensure that the data supplied are correct because these will be used for official purposes throughout the period of their study in the Polytechnic.
  • All Candidates seeking for admission into the Kwara State Polytechnic must undergo the screening exercise.
  • Only candidates who properly register for the screening exercise and are successful will be considered for admission.
  • Candidates are advised to meticulously provide their details on the portal as any candidate that supplies wrong information will be automatically disqualified and his/her admission could be withdrawn at any stage.
