UTME Entry Requirements
a) Only candidates who chose KOMU as their first-choice institution at the time of the 2025 UTME Registration are eligible to apply for the POST-UTME Screening into the following programmes:
- MBBS Medicine & Surgery (minimum admissible JAMB Score, 210)
- B. N.Sc. Nursing Science (minimum admissible JAMB Score, 205)
- LLB Law (minimum admissible JAMB Score, 200)
- B.MLS Medical Laboratory Science (minimum admissible JAMB Score, 150)
CANDIDATES WHO CHANGED TO KOMU AS FIRST CHOICE INSTITUTION AFTER THE UTME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE PROGRAMMES NAMED ABOVE.
b.Candidates who did not originally select KOMU as their University of first choice during the 2025 UTME, but who scored a minimum of 150 and above, are eligible to apply for admission into the following programmes, provided they effect a change of institution to KOMU on the JAMB CAPS portal. Admission into each programme is subject to meeting the minimum JAMB score requirement specific to that programme, as outlined below:
The minimum JAMB Score requirements for various programmes are as follows:

Direct Entry (DE) Requirement
Direct Entry candidates must possess OND/HND/First Degree and A’Level in relevant disciplines and subjects.
Nature of the Screening Exercise:
The 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise shall be based on verified JAMB scores and WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB results uploaded on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Important Notices
(a) Ensure that your details on JAMB CAPS match the information provided on the Post-UTME application portal. (e.g. JAMB Registration number, Date of Birth, State of Origin, etc.)
(b) Use a valid mobile number and e-mail address for further communication.
(c) Upload your O’Level results on JAMB CAPS, no later than August 12, 2025.
(d) ONLY candidates who successfully submit their applications online will be considered for admission.

The fee for screening is two thousand naira (₦2000) only. All payments should be made using the Remita payment gateway.
HOW TO APPLY FOR KOMU POST-UTME SCREENING FORM
Step 1 – Visit the KOMU website at www.komu.edu.ng
Step 2 – Click on “Online Application”
Step 3 – Click on “Apply Online” and read the instructions

Step 5 – Copy your unique Application Number
- Please note this application number. You will need it to access your application process subsequently
Step 6 – Click on “Start Application Process”
Step 7 – Fill out the form completely and correctly
Step 8 – Click on the “Submit”
Step 9 – You will be directed to pay the Post-UTME/Direct Entry application fee of N2000 only.

Step 11 – Print the Acknowledgement slip, which is also sent to your email
