GSU Registration Procedure for Fresh Students 2025/2026 Academic Session

Welcome to the Gombe State University! The following steps outline the registration procedure for newly admitted undergraduate students as directed by the management. It is crucial for students to adhere to this step-by-step guide to facilitate a smooth registration process.

To ensure a smooth transition into university life, GSU has opened its registration portal exclusively for its fresh students. This initial step is crucial, as it formally integrates you into the GSU academic community. Here’s what you need to know about the registration process:

GSU Registration Exercise for Fresh & Returning Students

Please note that students with special cases of late registration are advised to register and report to their departments between 28th Oct – 11th Nov, 2024 unfailingly.

Step 1: Visit the University website www.gsu.edu.ng

Step 2: Click on the “Registration” link and select “Undergraduate“.

Step 3: Use your JAMB No. as your “username” and “gsu2024” as your default password in the login request region.

Step 4: Once you successfully login, you are required to COMPLETE your personal PROFILE information.

Step 5: Afterwards, click on the “Pay Registration Fee” link, and select the PAY option of your choice e.g Bank Branch or online payment.

Step 6: After you have successfully made your payment, go back to STEP 3.0 above, to access your Registration details Form (CAUTION: print the form or note the details of the form, for further action in STEP 7 below).

Step 7: You can now use the NEW Registration No. you obtained in STEP 6.0 above as your “username” and the default password “gsu2024”, as your password to login again and change the default password.

Step 8: Once you have successfully logged into your personal page again, click on the “Courses Registration” link to register your Courses.

Core Courses are automatically registered first before Elective Courses. Also, the Total Credit Units to be registered cannot exceed the Maximum of 24 Units per Semester.

Note: In case of network failure after a successful payment on the Remita portal, you can go back to payment and input your RRR Number to verify it.
