This is to formally notify all fresh students admitted for the 2025/2026 Academic Session that the University’s 14th Matriculation Ceremony has been scheduled as detailed below:

Date: Friday, 30 January 2026

Time: 4:00 p.m.

Venue: University Auditorium, College of Health Sciences (COHS) Campus, Lokoja
In view of this, all newly admitted students who are yet to pay their school charges and complete registration are strongly advised to do so on or before Sunday, 25 January 2026. Failure to meet this deadline may result in the automatic withdrawal of admission.
Matriculation Gowns
Matriculation gowns will be issued from Wednesday, 28 January 2026 through the Departmental Administrative Officers. Collection will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Students are required to handle the gowns with utmost care and ensure they are returned in good condition on or before 2:00 p.m. on Monday, 2 February 2026. Any student who fails to return the gown within the stipulated time will be surcharged ₦5,000 for late submission.
Guidelines for Matriculating Students
The following rules must be strictly adhered to:

All matriculating students must assemble at the COHS ICT Car Park by 1:30 p.m., from where they will proceed to the ceremony venue by 2:30 p.m.

No student will be permitted to join the procession after it has commenced.

Entry into or exit from the hall will not be allowed from 3:30 p.m.

Only matriculating students properly robed in matriculation gowns will be admitted into the Matriculation Hall.
