We wish to notify all new and returning students of Federal University Dustsin-Ma (FUDMA) that the university’s administration has made adjustments to the academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The revised FUDMA academic calendar is designed to span approximately one year. All academic and non-academic activities have been meticulously scheduled within the approved timeframe, as directed by the university’s management.

The Senate of Federal University Dutsin-Ma convened an emergency meeting during which they ratified the adjusted academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic sessions as outlined below:
At its emergency meeting , the Senate extensively deliberated on the calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session and subsequently approved the following revision.
REGISTERATION
- 28th – 29th October 2023: Students mark their arrival, kickstarting the academic session.
- 30th October – 5th November 2023: The registration window opens for all enrolled students.
- 6th – 12th November 2023: Latecomers need not fret as there’s a window for late registration.
- 13th – 19th November 2023: A period dedicated for students to add or drop courses based on their academic needs.
Lectures and Examinations
- 30th October – 21st December 2023: An intense lecture phase commences, lasting a good 62 days.
- 3rd – 27th January 2024: Continuous lectures further engage the students.
- 29th January – 3rd February 2024: A brief yet crucial revision period precedes the main examinations.
- 5th February – 2nd March 2024: Examination fervour grips the university as students showcase their knowledge.
- 3rd – 17th March 2024: Once exams conclude, the diligent faculty engages in marking.
Results ProcessingÂ
- 18th – 28th March 2024: The all-important consideration of results occurs. This period is essential as it determines the academic progression of students.
Correction and Consideration of ResultsÂ
Beyond the primary result consideration, FUDMA has structured a detailed process:
- Departmental Board: 18th – 20th March 2024
- Faculty Board: 21st – 23rd March 2024
- Senate Business: 25th – 27th March 2024
- Senate: A conclusive meeting on 28th March 2024
