The management of David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences (DUFUHS) has announced the resumption date for fresh and returning students. This information is coming after a plenary meeting held by the senate of the university senate held on the 23rd December, 2026.
According to the academic calendar for the 2026/2027 academic session, resumption dates for freshers and returning students as well as the date for resumption of lectures, academic and non-academic activities for the 2026/2027 admission year stated below.
DUFUHS Resumption Date
According to the management of the university, freshers and returning students are to resume as follows;
- Returning Students – 9th January, 2026.
- Resumption for returning students – January 23rd 2026.
With respect to the above dates, students are advised to have paid their school fees in order to avoid being locked outside the school gate entrance. Any student that is unable to show physical proof of school fees payment generated from the school’s portal will not be allowed into the school premises.
