BUK Resumption Date for Fresh and Returning Students 2023/2024 Session

This is to inform all fresh and returning students of Bayero University, Kano that the management of the institution has announced the resumption date for fresh and returning students via the recently published academic calendar for the academic session after embarking on the strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities.

According to the management, returning student and new students are to resume together for completion of the academic activities. This is the norm practiced in all schools where academic activities was ongoing before the 8 months prolonged ASUU strike was embarked upon by Bayero University in solidarity with their union.

The academic activities for the 2023/2024 academic session has been designed to run for a period of 4 months approximately. All academic and non academic activities have been scheduled to take place within the 4 months period.

BUK RESUMPTION DATE FOR FRESH AND RETURNING STUDENTS

Students are advised to be law abiding and continue with their studies at their various places of abodes as school will resume as follows;

According to the school management, BUK resumption date is Monday, 17th October, 2023.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Payment of school fees and acceptance fee plus all compulsory registrations for fresh and returning students would kick off immediately upon resumption.

If there are adjustments in to BUK resumption date for 2023/2024 academic session, the management will duly inform us and I shall make changes where necessary.
