The list of courses offered in Abia State University, popularly known as ABSU has been released. Abia State University is the foremost state university in Nigeria, the university was founded in 1981 and ever since, Abia State University has maintained its leadership within and beyond the Eastern heartlands of Nigeria. The university is located in the heart of Igbo land where skill acquisition and entrepreneurship constitute the culture of the people.

In this article, contains the officially approved list of accredited of courses offered in ABSU (Abia state university) Uturu. ABSU offers undergraduate, graduate and doctorate degrees courses but our radar would be focusing on undergraduate degree courses offered in ABSU.

As at today, there are eight (8) Faculties and fifty-seven (57) courses offered in ABSU and these courses of course come with their various subject combinations and requirements.

For the sake of newbies who do not know about the right subject combination for their courses, you could check out the list of all courses and their subject combination as approved by JAMB to confirm the right subject combo for your preferred choice.

ABSU Admission Requirements;

Firstly, candidates must score up to ABSU approved JAMB cut off mark to be eligible for admission. Candidates who do not meet the university’s cut off mark can change their institution to another school with lower cut off point. For candidates who are new to this, you can read up on how to change your institution and course through JAMB approved CBT centre closest to you.

Secondly, candidates shall of course have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in his or her O’level results which must include Mathematics and English language. Combination of WAEC and NECO is accepted by ABSU, but it is always advised to either use WACE/WAEC or NECO/NECO combination.

Upon completing the above, you can make an informed decision on which of the courses to select from, then you are automatically eligible for admission into Abia State University.

The above ABSU courses listed all have their approved UTME and O’level subject combination. I have made available, a table below containing the correct O’Level and UTME subjects combination for as an admission requirement into Abia state university irrespective of the course selected. Using the approved JAMB and UTME subject combination makes you eligible to apply for admission for your preferred course.
