Alumnus Lights Up Lives: ₦750,000 Scholarship Boost for UNIZIK Students

Engr. Chukwudi Egwu Fidelis, a proud Nnamdi Azikiwe University alum from the 2016/2017 Mechanical Engineering set, has dropped ₦750,000 in scholarships for five lucky students via his US-based CEF Scholarship Foundation. Four from Engineering, one from Arts—each gets ₦150,000 to ease their academic grind.

Big props to Associate Prof. Azaka Onyemazu Andrew, former Mechanical Engineering HOD and ASUU-NAU Students Relations Convener, for making this happen. The award ceremony doubled as a milestone for Engr. Prof. Ugochukwu Okonkwo, who, on his first day as Dean of Engineering, hailed the gesture as a blueprint for alumni-student collab.
