This is to inform all candidates that UI school fees for new students 2025/2026 has been released, see below for the school fees schedule, therefore, students are advised on early payments to avoid extra charges on late payments.
Please note that UI school fees schedule for new students for 2025/2026 academic session as seen below has been broken down into different levies and charges and these are compulsory fees payable by all new students in all levels irrespective of the faculty.

How To Pay UI School Fees Online
Payment of Fees Guidelines
A. Login on to the portal
Step 1 – Log on to https://student-portal.ui.edu.ng on any browser
Step 2 – Login details: Username: your student institutional email or matric number and Password: your last name in lower case (small letters)
Step 3 – After successful login you will be prompted to change password before Input your old password then create a new password of your choice, confirm new password, and click on update button
B. Payment Steps
- After successful login, your dashboard will be displayed
- Navigate to the Fees section on the side menu list
- Click my
- The following fees are compulsory for all categories of students:
- Bundled fee (100 – 300 levels) or School fee (400 level and above)
- Technology Levy – To be paid
- Utility Levy – To be paid
Health Professional levy or Laboratory Professional fee is compulsory for students of the College of Medicine while Special DVM levy is compulsory for students of the faculty of Veterinary Medicine – To be paid separately
- Click the button besides the fee option you are paying and click Proceed.
- Confirm the correctness of your payment
- Click Proceed to pay.
- You will be redirected to the Remita payment
- Select a payment option (card/bank/branch/transfer/remita) 10.Complete payment process as directed in the selected payment
C: Confirmation of Payment
- After successful payment, you will be redirected to the registration
- Go to Fees, then select Transactions to confirm the status of your
- If successful, click the view button under Actions for payment A pdf version can also be downloaded.
- Remita receipt will be sent to your student
- In the case of a failed transaction for which you were debited, click the refresh icon to update status

Hi Chinenye. Firstly, to gain admission into UI will be only through either UTME or DE (Direct Entry method) For you UTME, you are supposed to write the UTME and for DE, if you have a current ND or HND certificate in the related field you could as well use it. If you have any of the just listed then you are good to go. If you do not posses any, then you have to wait until the next UTME

You can apply for post UTME form while waiting for WAEC but this isn’t applicable with the University of Ibadan. Awaiting Result is not considered there.

No. UI Hostel accommodation fee is optional. You can either decide to stay within the school quarters or rent an apartment outside the school environment.
