The management of Ahmadu Bello University has announced to the general public especially newly admitted students that the Matriculation Ceremony for freshers who recently got admitted into Ahmadu Bello University for the 2025/2026 academic session has been rescheduled to hold on the 19th March, 2024.
Every student participating in the Matriculation exercise students is mandated to be present at the venue for procession according to their respective Faculties by 8:am at the venue.
Please note that this matriculation ceremony is compulsory for all newly admitted students that gained admission into Ahmadu Bello University either via UTME or Direct Entry method as attendance will be taken because you will be required to sign the Matriculation Register immediately after the event is over.

- Time: 10:00am.
How To Collect Matriculation Gown
It is mandatory for all freshly admitted Undergraduate students to be robed and attend the event during which the matriculation Oath will be administered on them. The fresh Undergraduate students are to report to their Faculty Officers to obtain the academic gowns and Matriculation Oath forms after the payment of the sum of two thousand naira only (N2,000) at the ABU Microfinance Bank.
