Rufus Giwa Poly cut off mark for all courses 2025/2026 academic session has been released therefore, candidates who selected RUGIPO during the 2025/2026 UTME registration and wish to apply for admission into Rufus Giwa Poly can now confirm if they meet RUGIPO JAMB cut off mark as seen towards the end of this post.
Also, candidates who sat and did not meet the current cut off mark of Rufus Giwa Poly, all hope is not lost, you could decide to change institution or course to any of the polytechnics in Nigeria that your current cut off mark meets.
Candidates can effect the change here by going through how to change your Institution and course through registered CBT centres. Candidates are advised to visit the nearest JAMB accredited CBT centres closest to them to effect the above changes,
Candidates who meet the cut off mark are automatically eligible to sit for 2025/2026 post UTME test and if successful, would be granted admission into RUGIPO (Rufus Giwa Poly, Owo)

Candidates should note that the benefits of scoring Rufus Giwa Poly cut off mark minimum score as approved by JAMB is that candidates are given the opportunity to sit for the post UTME and upon beating the departmental cut off mark, are given the opportunity to study into any of the courses offered in the polytechnic upon successfully completing his or her physical internal screening of documents by the relevant faculties and offices in the school.
Documents required for Internal screening in Rufus Giwa Poly are;
- Printed Post-UTME Screening Form
- Internet copy of O’level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/NBAIS)
- Printed copy JAMB Result Slip
- Birth Certificate/Declaration of age
- Local Government Indigene/Citizen/Residence Certificate
- Recent colored passport photographs (Not less than 16 copies)
Like we would always inform candidates, beating Rufus Giwa Poly cut off mark for JAMB does not in any way guarantee you an automatic admission into the polytechnic, until a successful internal screening exercise (physical verification of original documents) is carried out on candidates before candidate is fully admitted into the institution.
Just like most polytechnics in Nigeria, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic automatically grants admission to candidates to study the course of their choice upon payment of the acceptance fee for provisional admission from JAMB as failure to do so means automatic forfeiture of the admission.

Rufus Giwa Poly cut off mark for 2025/2026 academic session is 120, therefore, candidates who score up to 120 are automatically eligible for to sit for the institution’s post UTME examination. Though some other courses cut off mark are beyond 120 UTME score.
Candidates should once again be reminded that the higher their JAMB and post UTME score, the higher their chances of gaining admission to study the course registered in your UTME.

Meanwhile, RUGIPO post UTME screening fee is two thousand naira (₦2,000.00) only.
Applicants for the screening exercise are also requested to upload the following:
(i) JAMB Data (with score)

(iii) passport photograph
The candidates are advised to print their admission screening forms and thereafter reprint the
dates for their Post-UTME tests
