Fountain University, Osogbo JAMB cut-off mark for all courses 2025/2026 academic session is out! Therefore all candidates who put FUO as their preferred choice of higher institution during the UTME registration can confirm if they meet the current cut-off mark for the institution. Any candidate who meets the cut off mark would then proceed for FUO internal screening exercise, and are thereby are advised to carry all supporting documents along including recent passport photographs.

More-so, candidates should note that the benefits of meeting FUO cut off mark for JAMB is that it affords candidates the opportunity to gain admission to sit for post UTME aptitude tests and also study any of the courses offered in Fountain University, Osogbo so long as the candidates get a good score in the internal screening exercise.

Documents required for Internal screening in FUO are;
a) First and foremost, candidates must score up to the minimum cut off mark for the current academic session as fixed by JAMB (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board) as this applies to the case of FUO.
b) Candidates applying for admission into FUO must have a minimum of 5 credits in Mathematics and English and other relevant subjects as it relates to his or her course of study to be eligible to sit for their post UTME aptitude test
c) Original and photocopies of candidate’s JAMB result slip
d) Original documents which includes ‘O’ level certificates please note that awaiting results are not accepted by FUO.
e) Original copy of your birth certificate or birth declaration
f) Recent passport photographs (Colored)
I have always advised candidates, scoring above FUO JAMB cut off mark for does not in any way guarantee you an automatic admission into the polytechnic, until a successful internal screening exercise carried out on all candidates then candidates can be sure about his admission status.
So please note that only successful candidates who sat for FUO internal screening exercise would be automatically granted admission to study the course of their choice.
FUO Cut off Mark for 2025/2026 Academic Session
FUO JAMB cut off mark for all courses 2025/2026 academic session is 140 and above. This simply means that candidates who score up to 140 and above are automatically eligible for FUO post UTME screening test or examination, but remember that the higher your JAMB score, the higher your chances of being admitted to your choice of course should your post UTME result come out high.
Below is the table containing FUO courses and their respective minimum required cut off marks.
Candidates who scored 140 and above in the 2024 JAMB-UTME are eligible to apply for admission into the university’s various NUC-accredited programmes available in the College of Arts, College of Basic Medical Health Sciences, College of Law, College of Management and Social Sciences and the College of Natural and Applied Sciences.
However, some programmes have specific cut-off marks as follows:

– Nursing Science: 210
– Medical Laboratory Science: 180
– Public Health: 150
– College of Law:
– Common Law: 220
– Common and Islamic Law: 180
– College of Natural and Applied Sciences:
– Computer Science: 150
